Taylor's Family Butchers Wool
SERVING WOOL AND THE PURBECKS

Arron Taylor has been in the butchery business since leaving school in 1993.

In April 2017, Arron, together with his father Keith and Keith's wife Brenda, took over the business. Initially the staff and suppliers remained the same, providing some continuity following the change of ownership. Arron runs the shop from day to day. Richard, who lives in the village, started working for the previous owners when he was a young lad. He is still with us and has now been working in the same building for around 49 years! Tom, took the vacancy when one of the original staff members decided to work in pastures new. Tom, again, has been in the butchery trade all his life, managing shops, such as Dewhurst, in the early days. Prior to joining us he was the manager of a Morrisons’ Butchery dept.

Taylor’s Family Butchers remains a traditional family business. We make our own faggots, cure our own bacon and make sausages in a number of different flavours. We sell a variety of delicatessen items, a great range of cheeses and dairy products, together with an exciting range of sundries, including sauces and pickles, that compliment our quality meats.
